Former Bay Power Plant in Shenzhen, Shenzhen Western shovel Island, is the first large island power plant unit. The Guangdong LNG terminal project is supporting the plant and the "Eleventh Five-Year " provincial and municipal key construction projects. Before the construction of the Shenzhen Bay Gas Turbine Power Plant installed capacity of the scale of 6 × 390MW, total project investment was 41.61 billion yuan, up 4.36 billion kwh of electricity.
